How to install a TL T8 LED tube with electronic ballast?

Installing a TL LED tube is very easy. All LED tubes are "plug & play", which means you can easily install them yourself and replace your existing TL tubes one by one. If you have doubts about your authorization, always contact a certified installer. Comply with the rules for electrical equipment installations in your country.

Replacing a TL tube with a TL LED tube is easy, just follow these 4 steps:


Step 1.

Make sure the power is off. Before replacing a bulb, the power supply must be turned off. For added security, you can turn off the power at the electricity meter.

Step 2.

Turn the fluorescent tube a quarter of a turn. In this way, the LED tube comes off the installation and you can remove it.

Step 3.

Take your new LED tube and flush it into the installation by one of the tips of the latter. Then turn again a quarter of a turn until you feel that the tube is installed and fixed.

Step 4.

Turn on the power and start saving energy and money immediately.
